The meaning of the universe shrinks.

With its fascination, glory and delight,

when people turn into numbers

Passing every day on screens

For others to see while they gossip and eat

That’s when the universe shrinks

Laughter, joy and smiles,

Fade away knowing that humans no longer exist

Turning in a glance to pale numbers

Shredded parts of angelic faces

Are now gathered in a black waste basket

Only to let the meaning of the universe shrinks

A family after another disappears

With every young and adult

For they have turned into unknown numbers

Bricks and stones tell stories,

that narrators are too weak to convey

how the meaning of the universe completely shrinks

The moment people turn into numbers
